The Amazing Raise 2011 is a unique, online giving event that provides an opportunity for people who care about the Greater Richmond region to come together and raise as much money (via credit card) as possible for local nonprofits in 36 hours – starting at 6 am on October 5 through 6 pm on October 6. All gifts will be processed through www.GiveRichmond.org an online resource and community‐wide giving program administered by The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia. The Community Foundation has committed an initial $100,000 incentive pool to help leverage credit card donations received via www.GiveRichmond.org during this period.

The Petersburg Rotary will hold their annual golf tournament with all proceeds benefitting the Petersburg Libary Foundation Capital Campaign.
