Welcome
The Petersburg Library Foundation was formed in 2002 with a mission to provide financial support for the purchase, construction and operation of a new library.
Site preparations began after the Groundbreaking Ceremony held on April 30th. Construction has begun on Phase I, which will house the 45,000 sq. ft. main library, and is expected to be completed by Fall 2013. Phase II of the project will contain the multi-purpose conference center and will be added when the overall fund raising goal is met at $12.7 million.
